Civil Unrest in Chicago

Chicago's ban on fois gras took effect this week, and several restaurants defied it. Good for them! This seems to be a foot in the door for other food bannings (can veal be far behind?), and seems like the first step to banning meat.

It makes me wish I knew where to buy and how to cook fois gras. I'm all about solidarity in eating good stuff, and the descriptions sound wonderful.
